Jefferson City Buzzards record book
This item is a photocopy made from an original manuscript record book kept by the Jefferson City Buzzards, a New Orleans carnival marching group.
The record notes that the group was organized in December, 1890, but entries do not begin until 1892. The entries for 1892-1895 comprise lists of officers with total cash/collections and expenses for each year. Beginning in 1896, expenses, and later revenues, are itemized. Beginning in 1904, complete membership lists are included.
