The data is recorded on forms headed "Record of notarial acts executed by the City of New Orleans before ... the City Notary," but the records appear to have been compiled at some time after the date of the last act recorded. The record is an inventory of the various acts, showing date, "style of act" (sale, deposit, contract, etc.), "party thereto," "purpose thereof,", price, and remarks.
