Collection contains the records of Jefferson City, a suburb of New Orleans, from the founding in 1850 until it was annexed by New Orleans in 1870. Includes the records of the council, the mayor, police, courts, assessors, and register of births and deaths, among other records. Records are arranged into series based on city department or official.
