These materials were transferred along with the files of the Parkway and Parks Commission. They consist of published bulletins, scientific journal articles, magazines and reports regarding a variety of plant topics. Relevant serials were transferred to the Local Serials collection. Materials not directly related to New Orleans, Louisiana, or the Gulf South were discarded. Two items published by the New Orleans Parkway Commission are included: A 40th Anniversary report and "The Culture of Azaleas and Camellias in New Orleans Soils."
