Municipal Auditorium Commission photographs, 1930s-1960s
Scope and Contents
The Municipal Government Photograph Collection contains a series of black and white, 8” x 10” prints sent from the Municipal Auditorium. These photographs, which primarily cover the 1930s and 1960s, depict programs, events, and performances held at the Auditorium, as well as publicity shots sent to the Auditorium to advertise performances or individual performers. Also included are photos documenting building damage from Hurricane Betsy (1965) and the various repair and renovation projects that followed.
