Manuscript volumes containing the minutes of the meetings of the Third Municipality Council. In addition to recording legislative proceedings, including various elections as well as the text of, and votes on, ordinances and resolutions, the records also include transcriptions of numerous reports made to the Council. The first two volumes (1836-1846) are recorded in French; remaining volumes are in English. The minutes for the period between March 27, 1848 and April 29, 1850 are missing.
