Manuscript and typewritten program notes and minutes for the organization's convention in November, 1955. The theme of the meeting was "The Christian Woman combines modesty with dignity, in dress, conduct and speech."

Typewritten copy of a talk delivered by Mrs. W. A. Brannan for the Chapter's birthday, January 13, 1948. The talk dealt with the history of the Chapter from its founding in 1913. Also included is a cover letter signed by Mrs. Frank V. Russell, Regent, dated January 14, 1948.

Federation of Protestant Church Women of New Orleans/New Orleans Council of Church Women records
The records comprise the minutes of meetings of the Board of Directors and minutes of the organization's semi-annual general meetings. Included therein are detailed notes on the remarks of guest speakers at the meetings. Pasted into the minutes are copies of the constitution, yearbooks, meeting notices, programs, and other materials.
Jefferson City Buzzards record book
This item is a photocopy made from an original manuscript record book kept by the Jefferson City Buzzards, a New Orleans carnival marching group.
The record notes that the group was organized in December, 1890, but entries do not begin until 1892. The entries for 1892-1895 comprise lists of officers with total cash/collections and expenses for each year. Beginning in 1896, expenses, and later revenues, are itemized. Beginning in 1904, complete membership lists are included.

The records also include 12 volumes of bound minutes, ca. 1943-1974.
