Biographical / Historical

Lou dropped out of school in 1904 at the age of 12, and went on to become Outdoors editor of the Chattnooga Times, author of the 50th anniversary history of the Chattanooga Kiwanis Club as well as a history of the conservation movement in Tennessee (1971). He fashioned bamboo fishing rods for Presidents Hoover, F.D. Roosevelt, Truman, and Eisenhower.
