Hurricane Katrina Memorial exhibit
Scope and Contents
The New Orleans City Council created a photograph exhibition to commemorate the one year anniversary Hurricane Katrina. The exhibition was part of the events surrounding the dedication of “A Place of Remembrance,” a granite monument at Mississippi River Heritage Park. Images and stories were donated by family and friends of those who died due to the storm and the aftermath.
