Photocopy of a transcription of the original letter written from University Hospital in New Orleans to his mother, brother and sisters, probably in North Carolina. Gott briefly describes his Civil War experiences, including a voyage from Brazos, Texas to New Orleans. Mss. notes on the Gott family are also present.
Edward Dominique Seghers account book transcript
Typewritten transcript of an account book showing Seghers' income and private expenses during his service in the Louisiana Infantry. The record illustrates his war time movements from Vicksburg (where he was captured when the town fell) to Mobile and other points in Mississippi and Alabama.
