ONE New Orleans.pdf
Scope and Contents
The Marketing subseries contains the born digital records produced by the Marketing Department in the Mayor's Office of Communications during the Nagin administration. It includes publicly distributed materials like brochures and presentations, but also fact sheets and talking points administrative staff. Ads encouraging early voting are also included.
The original order and file names from the department have been retained, if possible. Clarification about the subject matter is provided in the note fields when necessary. Records in this series include the launch of the 311 non-emergency service, budget presentations, public notifications about code enforcement, updates on recovery from hurricanes Katrina and Rita, surveys about the city's website, as well as outreach to various conferences and groups. Designs and logos have been included. Although widespread duplication and use of certain graphics was common, the archives has not retained every copy. There will be significant subject crossover with other sub-series in the Office of Communications and the larger Nagin collection.
