Biographical / Historical
The Vieux Carre Commission is the regulatory body of the Vieux Carre, the designated area bounded by Iberville St, N. Rampart St., Esplanade Ave., and the Mississippi River. The Commission oversees zoning and exterior construction to properties in the French Quarter, in order to preserve the architectural history of the historic district.
