This collection includes 18 boxes of files from Fitzmorris's tenure as At-Large Councilmember. Major areas of focus are Leases on City owned property, the Sewerage and Water Board, and extensive recordkeeping of his appointments. This collection also includes a small amout of Fitzmorris' personal papers.

Scope and Contents The Historic District Landmarks Commission papers include handwritten survey forms, photographs, and slide images of neighborhoods assessed for their historic value and for preservation. Not all neighborhoods include both surveys and photographs/slides. Some include surveys without images, or images without surveys. The records of the Landrieu administrations are divided between the Loyola University of New Orleans Department of Archives and Special Collections and the City Archives at the New Orleans Public Library. Through a cooperative project, NOPL microfilmed both sets of records. The following is the inventory of the City Archives portion of the Landrieu records.

Scope and Contents The records were selected for transfer to the City Archives by staff in the Environmental Affairs Office following the departure of director Gerald White from city government. The transfer was completed in November 1999.The records deal mainly with individual environment-related projects handled by the Office since its establishment in 1994.
