Biographical / Historical
Stacy Head entered the political sphere in the aftermath of Katrina and was elected to City Council in 2006 representing District B. She was elected to hold the at-large seat for a partial term in a special election on April 21, 2012, and won election to a full term on February 1, 2014. She did not seek re-election in 2017. Head grew up in St. Helena Parish in southeastern Louisiana. She received her law degree from Louisiana State University and was an attorney with the New Orleans based firm of Stanley, Flannigan, and Reuter.
