This volume records the account of the Infirmary with Morgan & Co. (probably Thomas Morgan & Co., druggists, 17 Canal Street). It essentially is a record of the supplies, drugs and other materials purchased for the Infirmary from just before its opening through the first few months of its second year of operation.

Scope and Contents The records include financial documents, letters, and reports relating to the Girod Fund's investments and to contracts with and payments to Samuel Johnston, the contractor who built the Asylum, and his subcontractors. A calendar of the papers, prepared by Glenn McMullen in 1975, is available below.The City Archives does not calendar records as a rule. Scope and Contents

The registers include some or all of the following information: name, place of birth, “reference” (often an address, or name, presumably, of the person to be contacted), dates of admission and discharge, date of death (if appropriate), and diagnosis. A partial index (letters K-W) is filmed at the front of the volume. Ante-bellum records include entries for enslaved people.

Scope and Contents The records include correspondence and reports relating to nutrition surveys in Columbia and Bolivia in 1960-1962 and to the exchange program between the medical schools of Tulane and Anioquia (Columbia). Correspondents include various members of the ICNND, both in the Department of Health, Education, & Welfare and at medical schools throughout the U.S., and the University and Health officials in Columbia and Bolivia.
