Scope and Contents One page manuscript (dated March 25, 1851) recapitulation of labor and material expenses for construction of the new cathedral building under contract with John P. Kirwan. The expenses are divided by category of work (i.e., masonry, carpentry, roofing, locks, and paving), with a total of $85,730. It is signed by Sampson [Alexander H.
