Contains administrative files related to projects in the 1970s and 1980s. These files contain correspondence and reports from city, state, and federal governments.

These records are very similar in makeup and content to the Subject files, but were prepared and stored separately for unknown reasons. Includes interoffice memos, correspondence, reports, etc. Solicitations by individuals, businesses or vendors were not retained, nor were non-local newsletters or routine correspondence cc'd to Gusman.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The records of the Landrieu administrations are divided between the Loyola University of New Orleans Department of Archives and Special Collections and the City Archives at the New Orleans Public Library. Through a cooperative project, NOPL microfilmed both sets of records. The following is the inventory of the City Archives portion of the Landrieu records.

The first group comprised materials mostly from the period 1994-1996 while the second accession included records from 1994 through the end of the administration's tenure in 2002. The subject files consist mostly of correspondence and reports, both from internal departments, constiuents, corporations, and other government bodies. Most concern city affairs and economic development.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The DiRosa records contain subject files from the councilperson's two terms in office. Many of the subject files deal with civic matters, social services, and local organizations. Of particular note are the liquor license revocations that were part of a morality enforcement against gambling, sex work, and same-sex bars.
