City Council District E records
The records are subject files from the following Councilmembers representing District E:
- Philip Ciaccio, pictured right, served as Dist. E Councilmember from 1966-1982
- Howard Beck, appointed to fill Ciaccio's unexpired term, 1982
- Wayne Babovich, served 1982-1985
- Ulysses Williams, appointed to fill Babovich's unexpired term, 1985-1986
City Planning Commission records, 1923-2012
This series contains the builk of the CPC collection, including most of the more recent files created by the City Planning Commission after its merger with the Board of Zoning Adjustments. Meeting minutes, zoning dockets, and ordinances and amendments were produced by the CPC office for the City Council and the public. Subject files and office records were used for internal studies related to zoning and zoning ordinances.
Councilmember Daniel Kelly District E records
The records are four boxes of subject files, arranged alphabetically, regarding the administrative duties and interests of the District E office.
Councilmember Frank Friedler District A records
The records refelct the interests of Friedler's District A office; topics of note include the Audubon Park and the expansion of Audubon Zoo, preservation of historic neighborhoods, emergency health services, and property tax assessment.

Records include files on city-owned property leased for private use, subject, and reading files. The property files include photographs, the lease agreement, and other relevant material.

The City Archives received approximately 700 cu. ft. of records during the last days of the Marc H. Morial administration. Included were records of the various divisions within the Mayor's Office along with records of the Chief Administrative Office and records of the Finance, Health, Property Management, Police, and Parkways Departments. Records for agencies outside of the Mayor's Office are described separately.
Mayor Moon Landrieu records
The records of the Landrieu administrations are divided between the Loyola University of New Orleans Department of Archives and Special Collections and the City Archives at the New Orleans Public Library. Through a cooperative project, NOPL microfilmed both sets of records. The following is the inventory of the City Archives portion of the Landrieu records.
